Tracking lots of sunshine for the holiday weekend

TODAY: Cooler air from the north moving in today will keep highs in the upper 70s, seasonal for this time, but we will keep warming the rest of the week ahead. Skies will stay nearly cloud-free today.

TONIGHT: Temperatures are cool overnight with light winds and clear skies. Lows dip to the lower 50s.

EXTENDED: With continued sunshine, temperatures could top out right around the 80 mark Saturday. Things will start to actively warm on Sunday, when we return to mid-80s. We'll climb into the upper 80s by Memorial Day. Humidity will be low over the weekend, but may creep back up by Monday afternoon. Temperatures keep climbing next week, breaking into the 90s to kick off summertime. Meager moisture returns by Wednesday, but with little trigger for storm development, things are looking mostly dry.
