Tracking Sunday showers

TODAY: We continue our warmup trend into the upper 80s today. Thankfully there will be some wind to knock the heat off with gusts up to 25 mph. Skies will be clear and humidity will be noticeable but not uncomfortable.

SUNDAY: A cold front will slowly pass over mid-Missouri to bring some cloud cover into early Sunday morning. By noontime, we'll start to see a line of storms moving in from the northwest. These will continue to make their way through the area throughout the rest of Sunday and into Monday morning. Severe conditions should remain low with hail being the main concern. Behind these storms comes much cooler temperatures and low humidity.

EXTENDED: The start of the workweek will be cool and pleasant. Monday will see some cloud cover sticking around after Sunday showers but these clear out as the day wears on. Temperatures fall into the 60s for much of the week and we aren't looking at rain chances through next weekend.
