A pleasant Labor Day forecast plus storms later this week

TODAY: Mid-Missouri is going to be heating up a little bit as we reach close to 90 degrees today. The humidity is back, making it feel a bit warmer in the mid-90s. Winds today will be high with speeds from 10-15 mph.

LABOR DAY: The beginning of the holiday will be pretty comfortable as temperatures again climb up to the high 80s. There are small chances for some pop-up showers in the afternoon hours but your outdoor plans should be good to go! However, storms will begin moving into the area during the evening hours so make sure to enjoy the day early.

EXTENDED: Much of the Midwest will see a cooldown this week as a cold front passes through. This will bring with it multiple rounds of storms. Rain chances will be highest on Tuesday and Wednesday. Things should clear up throughout the week as temperatures plummet into the mid-60s.
