Heat and humidity bring Summer-like conditions to mid-Missouri

MONDAY: The clouds and showers that we saw this morning have begun to clear out of the area, making way for sunshine to filter in. Humidity will begin rising as we get into the afternoon and upcoming days. Highs for the day will be in the low 80s.

TONIGHT: A few clouds will linger overnight tonight, and lows will fall into the low 60s.

EXTENDED: Heat and humidity will be the story as we continue through the week. Rain and storm chances will fire up Wednesday into Thursday, and a few spotty storms are not out of the question for our Friday. This weekend looks to stay mostly dry with temperatures near 90 degrees.
