Tracking a cool night, storm chances this weekend

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds, with cool temperatures in the mid-60s. Patchy fog is possible before sunrise.

TOMORROW: Patchy fog in the morning, then mostly sunny, with highs in the upper 80s. Scattered storms are possible by mid to late afternoon, but some forecast models suggest storms may not develop at all.

EXTENDED: Rain chances may continue into Sunday morning, but if we stay drier, temperatures will climb to the upper 80s. Storm chances increase again late Sunday, mainly across northeast Missouri as a front lifts north. Storms may persist along the front into Monday morning, but rain chances begin to decrease as the front moves further away. That'll leave us drier and warmer on Tuesday, with highs around 90 degrees, but our front is expected to return Tuesday night, bringing more rain and a gradual cooldown late next week.
