TONIGHT: Quiet and mostly clear, with lows falling to the upper 70s. Look for the Perseid meteor shower in the northeast sky!

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and muggy, with a heat index above 105 degrees.

EXTENDED: Thursday and Friday are ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Days as the heat index continues to soar above 105 through the end of the week. Saturday may also reach triple digits, but the heat finally begins to come down next week, with a cold front and rain chances arriving by Sunday night.
