Tracking rainy conditions tonight, drying out tomorrow

TONIGHT: Expect showers to continue throughout the afternoon and into the evening, with temperatures remaining in the mid-40s overnight.

TOMORROW: Slight chance of AM showers, but dry and mostly cloudy throughout the afternoon, temperatures in the mid to upper 50s.

EXTENDED: Things finally begin to dry out Wednesday afternoon into Thursday, with sunshine making a return Thursday afternoon, among clear skies. Temperatures rebound back into the mid-60s, increasing to low to mid 70s for Friday. Rain chances do increase Friday evening, with a few rumbles of thunder possible. The start to Mother's Day weekend looks warm and comfortable, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures reaching the lower 80s on Saturday. Partly sunny conditions continue into Sunday afternoon, but persistent rain chances do exist, hovering around 40 percent. Temperatures dip down into the mid 70s in the wake of those potential showers. The beginning of next week looks clear and comfortable, with seasonal temperatures in the 70s and 80s.
