Tracking a freeze tonight, milder temps this weekend

TONIGHT: A Freeze Warning is in effect for low temperatures dropping to the lower 30s, so cover sensitive plants or bring them indoors. Winds from the north and east could gust up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: Sunny and seasonal, with highs in the upper 50s. Expect a gentler breeze from the southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

EXTENDED: Our cooldown will be short-lived this weekend, with lows back above freezing on Sunday morning in the 40s. Highs climb to the 70s on Sunday, and we'll hit the 80s again by Monday and Tuesday. Rain chances increase midweek with a cold front possibly moving in late Tuesday or Wednesday, and showers and storms may continue through Thursday. Temperatures drop quickly under these rain chances, with highs in the 50s and 60s on Wednesday and Thursday. We may see a brief lull around Friday, but next weekend looks wet and warmer as well.
