Tracking a chilly morning before another noticeable warmup

TODAY: I'm tracking a cool start to the day as temperatures start in the low 30s. During the morning hours, frost and patchy fog may be possible before the warmup begins. By the afternoon, plenty of sunshine and breezy southerly winds at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph are expected, leading to temperatures warming into the upper 60s.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking mostly clear conditions as breezy southerly winds at 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph continue. By the end of the night, temperatures can be expected to drop into the upper 40s.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another warm, breezy, and sunny day as temperatures Monday afternoon warm into the upper 70s and potentially low 80s for some. It could be even warmer on Tuesday as a warm front moves through the area during the early morning hours, bringing light showers for some. This warm front will help set up for the next threat of severe storms by Tuesday afternoon, which is why an ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day will go into effect. The threat of storms lasts throughout the evening hours before coming to an end overnight. Showers may linger into Wednesday morning, and colder weather will be expected to follow this activity. Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, temperatures will warm into the mid to upper 50s, and although mid-60s are expected Friday, another cold front will bring cooler weather for next weekend.
