Tracking showers early tonight, sunshine returning tomorrow

TONIGHT: Rain will wind down late this evening and wrap up around midnight. Up to a quarter inch of rain is possible north of I-70, with totals increasing to an inch or more along and south of the interstate. Temperatures drop into the 40s overnight as winds shift to the north.

TOMORROW: Clearing skies, with mostly sunny conditions by the afternoon. Highs reach the upper 50s to low 60s, with a light northerly breeze.

EXTENDED: Temperatures continue to warm early next week, reaching the mid to upper 60s on Monday and flirting with 70 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect cloudier and breezier conditions midweek before a system moves through on Thursday, bringing a chance of rain, a few rumbles of thunder, and a late-week cooldown.
