Tracking mild temperatures and lots of sunshine

THIS AFTERNOON: Sunny and cool, with highs in the mid to upper 30s.

TONIGHT: Cloud cover will increase overnight, and temperatures will fall back into the lower 20s.

EXTENDED: Thursday will be cloudier, but milder, with southerly winds warming temperatures into the mid-40s in the afternoon. Sunnier skies will push many of us into the low 50s on Friday, and a cold front briefly drops highs into the 40s again on Saturday. Next week looks even warmer, with highs returning to the 50s on Sunday, climbing to around 60 degrees on Monday and Tuesday. That's about twenty degrees above normal for early February, and more similar to average temperatures in late March. Rain chances will increase from Tuesday onward, bringing temperatures down again late next week.
