Tracking flurries and subzero wind chills through the weekend

TODAY: I'm tracking flurries and breezy northerly winds throughout the morning hours. Temperatures will start in the teens and warm into the low 20s by the afternoon hours as cloud cover persists, but these breezy winds will lead to temperatures feeling like they are in the single digits throughout the majority of the day.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking clouds exiting as breezy northerly winds continue, leading to temperatures dropping into the single digits throughout the night. Wind chills will be below zero, which is why an ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day will go into effect by early Sunday morning. Flurries may also be possible throughout the morning hours, but accumulation isn't expected. EXTENDED: I'm tracking sunshine returning by the afternoon hours of Sunday as temperatures warm into the low 30s, but temperatures in the low teens with wind chills close to 0 degrees will still be present Monday and Tuesday morning. Sunshine will last throughout this period of time, which will eventually assist in a warmup by Tuesday afternoon as southerly winds take over. Temperatures will get into the low to mid-40s on Tuesday and Wednesday before another round of cold air arrives on Thursday. With this push of colder air, precipitation chances are expected to come with it.
