Tracking a mild week with dry weather until Thursday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the mid-upper 30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warm with highs approaching 60 degrees.

EXTENDED: We'll have a mild week ahead as high pressure centers across the Great Lakes, allowing southwesterly winds to ramp up the next few days and push temperatures well above average to the upper 50s to around 60 through late week. A weak cold front comes through on Tuesday, bringing a slightly cooler night, but no precipitation is expected. Later in the week, a stronger low pressure system is expected to work off the Pacific Northwest and cross the Rockies, bringing rain and/or storms to the region between Thursday and Friday. The track of the system will determine the impact, with storms possible late Thursday or Friday and colder air moving in for the end of the week into the weekend as temperatures tumble back into the upper 30s and 40s Saturday and Sunday.
