Tracking the return of rain on Tuesday

TONIGHT: Cloudy and chilly with lows in the upper 40s to around 50.

TOMORROW: Cloudy with showers moving in by mid-afternoon. Highs in the mid-upper 50s.

EXTENDED: Low pressure continues to spin across the region Tuesday into Wednesday, with widespread showers from Tuesday afternoon through late morning Wednesday. Rain amounts look to range between 0.5" to 1" through that time frame. Temperatures will be chillier on Wednesday as the system wraps up to our east and pulls in northerly winds, with highs in the lower 50s. Winds could gust between 25-30 mph. We'll be drier by late Wednesday afternoon with clearing through the end of the week as high pressure takes over. Thursday morning will be chilly with clearer skies in the upper 30s, with afternoon temperatures in the mid-50s. Halloween is looking great with highs in the upper 50s and a few more clouds toward evening, but dry for trick or treating. Another cold front swings through over the weekend, bringing slightly cooler nights and highs only reaching the low to mid-50s on Saturday.
