Tracking another windy day with cooler temperatures Tuesday
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and breezy with lows in the mid-40s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny, cooler, and breezy with highs in the lower to mid-60s.
EXTENDED: It's been a breezy start to the week with wind gusts getting to 40 mph in some spots again today as high pressure moves east and another cold front moves in. We could se a couple more clouds in the next few hours, but for the most part it's a dry frontal passage with cooler air behind it for tomorrow. Expect strong winds yet again as another high pressure system sets in, bringing sunshine but cooler temperatures in the 60s. We'll see sunshine through Thursday, but morning low temperatures Wednesday and Thursday could dip into the upper 30s to around 40. Some low lying rural areas may see the first patchy frost. Friday will bring widespread rain, especially to areas south of I-70 as a stronger low pressure system moves to our south. We'll hold onto showers on Saturday, making for a gloomy start to the weekend. Highs on both days should reach the upper 50s to around 60. Sunday is warmer and dry, with temperatures approaching the upper 60s. We'll see another active pattern for next week as we close out the final days of October.Â
