Tracking a windy start to the week before another cool down

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the mid-40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and breezy with highs in the lower 70s. Wind gusts could reach 25-30 mph.

EXTENDED: Another dry cold front moves through between Monday night and Tuesday, bringing gusty winds but remaining rain free, pushing temperatures down into the low 60s for highs on Tuesday. The rest of the week is cooler with high pressure overhead and highs in the mid-upper 60s. Overnight lows could dip into the upper 30s to around 40 starting Tuesday night. By Thursday night, low pressure works off the Plains in our direction, bringing a chance for widespread rain and a few thunderstorms through Friday and early Saturday. Rain amounts will range from 1-2" with temperatures remaining cool Friday and Saturday, topping out in the upper 50s to low 60s. Sunday is looking drier with highs in the low 60s.
