Tracking more clouds tonight into tomorrow, staying mild
TONIGHT: Increasing cloud with mild temperatures overnight. Lows in the lower 60s.
TOMORROW: Partly sunny with high thin clouds. Highs in the mid-80s.
EXTENDED: Temperatures remain about ten degrees above average on Wednesday despite the addition of mid-high level clouds. Upper high pressure holds over the region into the weekend, with light southwesterly winds keeping temperatures in the mid-upper 80s with lows in the 60s. By next week, the upper high begins to press east across the Southeast, cutting off Gulf moisture to our area and sending it into the Ohio Valley, limiting rain chances. However, a slow moving cold front could bring clouds and a chance for showers between Monday night and Tuesday, effectively cooling us back into the mid-upper 70s for much of next week, which is close to our seasonal average. We don't see a stronger signal for more organized rain or cooler temperatures until maybe next weekend or closer to mid-October.
