Tracking sunshine and warmer temperatures

TODAY: Mostly sunny and comfortable with highs in the upper 70s. Winds from the northwest will be light between 5 and 10 mph.

TONIGHT: Temperatures drop to the 50s overnight under clear skies.

EXTENDED: Sunshine dominates the forecast this weekend, and temperatures slowly warm into the 80s in the coming days. Friday night football games will be fantastic in the 70s tomorrow evening with clear skies. A jacket or sweatshirt won't be a bad idea out at the Mizzou homecoming parade early Saturday, with morning temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Tailgating will be warm in the low 80s with lots of sunshine. By kickoff, temperatures begin dropping into the 70s. Highs remain in the low 80s next week with no rain in the forecast.
