Tracking a few more showers and storms tonight, clearing Thursday
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy early with scattered showers and a few storms before midnight. Gradual clearing with lows in the mid-upper 50s.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and comfortable with a light north breeze. Highs in the upper 70s.
EXTENDED: Scattered showers and a few storms will be possible south of I-70 through late tonight, with clouds gradually clearing following rain. We'll likely see less than 0.25" of additional rainfall. Most of Mid-Missouri will be clear by daybreak tomorrow, leaving us with temperatures in the 50s to start out Thursday. We'll be cool with winds out of the north tomorrow, keeping temperatures just below average in the mid-upper 70s. High pressure begins to build across the Plains and Midwest, bringing clear, quiet conditions through the weekend through much of next week. We can expect high temperatures in the lower to mid-80s from the weekend into next week and lows falling into the mid-upper 50s to around 60 at night. Rain chances look very slim until at least next weekend following tonight's rain.Â
