Tracking more clouds tomorrow, big warm up by mid-week

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the lower 50s.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

EXTENDED:  High cloud cover has started to spread in ahead of a shifting pattern that will send a disturbance through the region tomorrow. High clouds will keep some areas in the mid-upper 50s tonight, with near 80 expected on Tuesday. Showers may extend as far east as Highway 65, but rain isn't expected for most of the area with dry air in place. Clouds gradually clear into Wednesday as upper high pressure moves overhead. Highs on Wednesday reach the upper 80s with dew points creeping back up to the low 60s by the end of the week. We'll feel hot and humid at the end of the week with temperatures about 10 degrees above average, with highs in the 90s from Thursday through the weekend. Rain chances are looking slim through the next 7+ days. The pattern may begin to break down a bit early next week, enough to send a cold front through, but measurable rain looks lackluster.
