Tracking isolated pm storms with increased coverage Thursday
TODAY: Tuesday is mostly dry, but spotty chances for showers and weak storms will come from a partly cloudy sky this afternoon. Highs are mild, in the mid-80s with enough humidity to have us feeling like the low 90s.
TONIGHT: Skies clear overnight, leaving us in the low 70s through sunrise.
EXTENDED: Wednesday is notably warmer, with highs near 90 and enough humidity to make that feel more like 100. Partly cloudy skies develop by the afternoon, and again, may yield spotty thunderstorms. Additionally, a front to our north may be close enough for scattered storms along it by Wednesday evening into Thursday morning. Confidence is higher in this boundary moving south as a cold front on Thursday. This will bring scattered showers and storms on Thursday. Timing is not exact, but we could pick up on this rain by the morning, and keep wet weather through the afternoon. Thursday appears to be the wettest day in the forecast at present. Friday may be some lingering rain chances. This boundary looks to lift back north as a warm front on Saturday and stays that way over the weekend into next week. This may trigger storm chances Friday night into Saturday, but a bigger impact should be a drier and hotter weekend if it travels far enough north. However, if it lingers near by, it could be a steady source of rain chances. Either way, the weekend is trending warm and humid.
