Tracking a clear Wednesday with more storm chances into the weekend

TODAY: Our temperatures remain very seasonal today with highs reaching the upper 80s in most areas. We'll have lots of sunshine with dewpoints around the upper 60s and low 70s, this will help to keep the humidity more bearable.

TONIGHT: Tonight we'll increase our cloud cover, lows will remain in the upper 60s and lower 70s.

EXTENDED: Thursday will remain partly cloudy, but we can't rule out a small, short lived spot shower due to daytime heating. Friday will be our warmest day of the week, with temperatures up into the 90s, and humidity threatening heat indices to reach the 100s. As we look towards the rest of the week, models suggest a cold front easing it's way through the northern portion of the state. This can bring with stronger storms, with the greatest chance of those storms reaching our area by late evening Friday into early morning Saturday. Those storm chances look to stick around most of our weekend, with popups possible into Saturday afternoon. Tuesday of next week also brings an increased chance for storms, though we will have a better grasp on what that looks like later into the week.
