Tracking overnight storms with a warm weekend

TONIGHT: Overnight showers and storms remain possible. Moderate downpours and lightening remains the primary threats. Lows cool to the lower 70s.

TOMORROW: Friday morning showers remain possible with a secondary round of isolated afternoon showers and storms also possible. Heavy brief downpours and lightening remain the primary threats. highs rise into the mid-80s with the heat index increasing up to the upper 80s.

EXTENDED: Saturday remains partly cloudy with very isolated storms possible. Most of the region remains completely dry. Highs warm into the upper 80s and lower 90s. Sunday welcomes increasing chances for showers and storms heading towards the evening and overnight hours. Showers and storms remain scattered through Monday.
