Tracking scattered storms to end the week on Friday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a spot shower or storm. Lows in the upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and storms. Highs in the upper 70s.

EXTENDED: Clouds have settled in over Mid-Missouri as low pressure works into the region, bringing scattered showers and storms through much of Friday. Storms will be hit and miss, but the main threats would be isolated heavy downpours and lightning. Severe weather risks are very low through the weekend. With the cold front moving south on Saturday, we'll be largely dry on both Saturday and Sunday with a pop-up storm possible during the day due to daytime heating. Next week looks warmer and more active with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 with humidity hanging around all week. We could see storm chances from mid-week, with stronger storms a possibility.
