Tracking a hazy and warm afternoon

THIS AFTERNOON: Highs climb to the upper 70s, but likely won't reach the 80 mark due to upper-level wildfire smoke. This smoke will contribute to a haze on the horizon today, but air quality remains healthy.

TONIGHT: Skies remain clear overnight, and lows will be perfectly seasonal in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees.

EXTENDED: Highs continue their climb into the low to mid-80s this weekend as sunshine persists. Sunday could see a very isolated shower or two, but most of the area remains completely dry. Showers and storms return by Tuesday and Wednesday, with more rain possibly following into next weekend.
