Tracking scattered afternoon and evening storms

TODAY: The greatest rain chance will come during the afternoon and evening, with drier weather coming overnight. Skies will be increasingly cloudy through the morning, becoming mostly cloudy by the afternoon. Winds are generally easterly through the day. We expect highs to range from low 70s in the southeast near Rolla, to near 80 near Brunswick in the northwest.

TONIGHT: Rain chances will end overnight, leaving skies broken overnight. We will likely keep clouds through Tuesday morning.

EXTENDED: Tuesday will be mostly dry with a high near 80, but a spot shower cannot be ruled out. Wednesday appears mostly sunny, with warmer temperatures. Expect highs in the upper 80s to near 90 to be a possibility both Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday is likely dry as well, but there will be a small chance for storm development. If storms can develop, severe weather may be possible. Friday brings another conditional chance for storms, but right now, it's likely that we stay dry. Saturday and Sunday bring low rain chances as well. High temperatures will remain near 80 Friday through the weekend.
