Tracking exiting showers, morning fog ahead of warm Tuesday
TONIGHT: Spot showers exiting, patchy fog develops overnight with lows near 60.
TOMORRROW: Partly to mostly sunny and warm with highs near 80.
EXTENDED: With light winds and clearing skies, we could see some fog developing tomorrow morning, especially in low lying areas or river valleys. We'll see more sunshine tomorrow through Thursday as temperatures climb each day under high pressure. Wednesday and Thursday will be the hottest with highs in the upper 80s. A cold front approaches between Thursday and Friday and looks to stall across southern portions of the area, cooling us a touch for Friday afternoon. Storms are possible on Friday near that front, so we'll be watching areas near and south of I-44 for any severe weather potential. Several disturbances roll through the region along this wavering boundary over the weekend, giving us chances of storms on Sunday along with continued warmer than average temperatures in the lower 80s. I am eyeing next week for severe weather potential. Tuesday looks like the most favorable day, but it could be within a window of Monday-Wednesday at this early juncture.Â
