Tracking scattered rain and storms the next two days
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy and warmer with lows in the mid-50s. Spot shower possible late.
TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy and mild with highs near 70. Scattered showers and storms possible, especially south of I-70.
EXTENDED: Clouds look to roll in tonight, keeping temperatures about 10 degrees warmer than where we ended up last night. As low pressure moves back into the region and eventually slides to the southeast over the next few days, we can expect scattered showers and a few storms between tomorrow and Thursday, with clouds exiting gradually on Friday. Severe weather isn't expected, and more measurable rain looks to fall across southern and southwest Missouri through Thursday night, closer to the center of low pressure. Rain amounts will be around 0.5-0.75 near the Lake area, with lower amounts the farther north you go. We'll clear out for the weekend with highs getting back into the mid-upper 70s and sunshine on Saturday and Sunday. More active weather returns early next week with rain possible by Monday.Â
