Tracking scattered storms before a cooler weekend

TONIGHT: Overnight lows cool to the upper 40s with scattered weak storms. The main threats will be moderate short-lived downpours and some gusty winds at times. Winds remain out of the north at 5-10 mph.

TOMORROW: Saturday sees very spotty storm chances with highs into the lower 60s. Winds remain out of the north at 8-12 mph and gusts up to 20 mph.

EXTENDED: Sunday could see some very spotty shower chances across eastern portions of Mid-Missouri as a low pressure system sits in Illinois bring the possibility of some wrap-around rain. Highs remain into the mid-60s throughout the day. The first half of the week starts out dry with more rain chances beginning into Wednesday and Thursday.
