Tracking evening severe storms with weekend severe storms/ flooding
TONIGHT: An ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day has been issued lasting through 10 PM tonight. Large hail 1"+ in diameter, winds up to 60 mph, and a low but non-zero chances remain possible tonight. Storms begin after 4 PM starting out as scattered cells before becoming more linear deeper into the overnight hours. The severe threat decrease after 10 PM with heavy showers remaining possible. Lows cool to the lower 50s.
TOMORROW: Saturday welcomes widespread heavy showers lasting throughout most of the day. Widespread flood threats increase as the days goes on. Highs warm into the mid-50s. Winds switch from the southwest back out of the northwest into the evening hours
EXTENDED: The flood threat remains through Sunday as more showers and storms remain possible. An additional ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day has been issued for Easter Sunday from 10 AM-10PM. The threats with these storms looks to be the possibility for a few tornadoes, large hail, strong winds, and flooding. Storms push east overnight clearing into Monday and Tuesday. Highs warm by mid-week into the upper 70s.
