Tracking high fire danger again on Tuesday
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and breezy with lows in the lower to mid-50s.
TOMORROW: Increasing clouds, warm, and breezy with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.
EXTENDED: The Red Flag Warning was extended to Tuesday area wide as winds could ramp up to 30-35 mph in the afternoon with low humidity and warm temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s. Clouds increase late tomorrow ahead of a cold front that will bring light rain and perhaps some light snow by Wednesday evening as temperatures drop to near freezing. Our warmest temperatures on Wednesday will be through late morning, and then when the front passes it will get cooler by the hour as late afternoon temperatures will be sitting around 40 degrees. I can't rule out a light dusting on the grass like we had on Sunday morning, but outside of that there are no impacts expected from snowfall. Thursday will be chillier behind that front with temperatures in the afternoon only reaching the lower 50s. We'll end the week on a warmer note with highs getting into the 60s on Friday, but I'm tracking another system that will bring rain and a cold front through on Friday night. Saturday's looking drier for now, with more rain on the way on Sunday. A few rumbles of thunder will be possible but no severe weather is expected. We could pick up some needed rainfall from that; up to around 0.5".
