More National Weather Service storm surveys released

Friday the 14th saw widespread damages caused by tornadoes that swept across the state, leaving some communities left to pick up the pieces in the aftermath of this outbreak.

The National Weather Service is still out and about doing survey for damage, so we're still gonna be seeing a little bit of influx and reports throughout the next several days until this is officially capped off.

When we look across much of the state of Missouri, here's what we have for some tracks and some updates.

The tornado that touched down just south of Rolla was rated a EF-2 tornado at 120 MPH for the strongest winds.

When looking just out of Mid-Missouri off to the east, a tornado that passed through Union, Missouri was rated an EF-1 up to 105 MPH. A separate tornado that started in Hillsboro then to Arnold has seen winds strong enough to rate the tornado as a preliminary EF-2. Villa Ridge saw a rating of up to EF-2 status with preliminary 122 MPH winds is so far. The top end what they've seen for that Chesterfield to West Alton tornado was rated an EF-2 once again that is subject to change due to this being a preliminary survey.

When we hop the other side of the river to Illinois, northeastern portions of O'Fallon saw a preliminary survey of up to Ef-1 winds. New Baden, Illinois saw a preliminary rating of an EF-2.

When we look off to southeastern portions of Missouri, theres plenty of activity still being surveyed. These official reports have not came out just yet, so we're still probably gonna have to wait the next day or two to see tornado tracks and strength.

Poplar Bluff has a yet to be released report on a potential tornado through this area. Puxico saw a EF-1 95 MPH tornado. Sikeston, Missouri saw an EF-1.

A lot of damage from this system will be surveyed as we go through that the next couple of days, and we'll continue to keep you up to date for anything that is released both on-air and online.
