EXTENDED: Severe thunderstorms will develop into a line that could bring damaging 80-85 mph winds and a few strong tornadoes this evening, with the severe weather threat pressing east out of Mid-Missouri by around 9:00 p.m. Gusty winds remain along with mostly cloudy skies as lows fall into the lower 50s by Saturday morning. Saturday will be breezy and cooler with highs in the low 60s, and a secondary cold front moves through by Sunday to cool us down into the low 50s for highs. Next week looks mild to start with highs in the 70s on Monday and Tuesday. Another system will bring a front and rain to Mid-Missouri on Wednesday, bringing temperatures back down into the 60s Wednesday and 50s by Thursday.
