Tracking overnight scattered drizzle before chances of snow next week

TONIGHT: Overnight low cool to the lower 30s with a light scattered drizzle possible. Some areas near Macon county and north could see some isolated light freezing drizzle. This could cause some slick spots on elevated roadways around this area. Winds remain out of the south at 8-12 mph.

TOMORROW: Scattered showers remain until closer to noon before pushing east. Any chances of possible freezing rain remains north around Macon county, but warming temperatures should decreases chances as we head into the mid-morning hours. Skies remain mostly cloudy into Saturday afternoon with dry conditions. Highs top out into the mid to lower 40s.

EXTENDED: Sunday welcomes cooler temperatures with highs into the mid-30s. Monday starts out dry with highs into the upper 30s. By Monday early evening, snow showers push into the region with increasing chances for accumulating snowfall. Snow chances remain possible through Wednesday with highs below freezing.
