Tracking a cooler Friday, light rain by evening
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and chilly with lows in the upper 20s.
TOMORROW: Increasing clouds after morning sunshine with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s. Clouds increase with light rain possible by evening.
EXTENDED; Another system will bring light rain back to the area between Friday night and Saturday, with patchy drizzle starting Friday evening and then spreading area wide through early Saturday afternoon. Clouds linger into Saturday night, with a chilly Sunday following. Temperatures Sunday morning will be in the low to mid-20s and highs in the mid-30s. Precipitation looks to stay to our south on Sunday, but several disturbances roll in our direction next week, and with colder air in place, we'll likely have a couple chances at wintry precipitation. The first wave could bring a chance at snow between Monday night and Tuesday, and potentially another round between Wednesday and Wednesday night. The exact track and impacts are yet to be determined, but disruptions to travel could be on the horizon across parts of Mid-Missouri next week.
