Tracking dangerously cold wind chills the next few days

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and very cold with lows near 1. Wind chills between -7 and -10 degrees.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper teens and wind chills in the single digits.

EXTENDED: The bitterly cold air pattern sticks around for the first half of the week with lows on Tuesday morning falling to near zero and wind chills between -10 and -12 to start the day. Highs will struggle to get to about 15 degrees with arctic high pressure overhead. We'll start warming by Wednesday morning as this high works east and we see a wind shift to the southwest, but I'll also be tracking a few clipper systems that move in from the northwest that could bring clouds and flurries between Wednesday and Thursday. We'll end the week on a warmer note with highs in the mid-40s on Saturday and rain chances on Sunday.
