Tracking dropping temperatures this weekend

TODAY: Partly sunny and cold with temperatures in the 20s throughout the day. Winds from the north will be breezy, gusting above 20 mph, dropping the wind chill to the teens.

TOMORROW: Dangerously cold with wind chills near or below zero most of the day. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

EXTENDED: Sunday through Tuesday are ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Days for extreme cold, with temperatures near or below zero on Monday and Tuesday morning. Highs remain in the teens, with the wind chill even worse. A sharp turnaround is expected midweek as southerly winds return and warm temperatures above freezing on Wednesday. Highs remain near average in the upper 30s and low 40s in the extended forecast.
