Tracking dangerously cold temperatures lasting through Thursday morning

TODAY: Tuesday is an ABC17 Stormtrack Weather Alert Day for the bitter cold that settles in today. After starting near zero, highs only reach teens, and we'll feel like single digits.

TONIGHT: Frigid air continues tonight, with clear skies and a low near zero.

EXTENDED: We'll have sunny skies through Thursday morning, with clouds returning. South winds warm us into the 20s on Thursday after another day of cold on Wednesday. Clouds increase Friday as we warm to near 30 degrees. We will have a chance for snow showers Friday. Dry weather is anticipated over the weekend, and highs will be near 30.
