QUESTION OF THE DAY: Are you looking forward to this weekend’s winter storm?

A major winter storm is forecast to blanket Mid-Missouri in snow and ice this weekend.

Some forecast models predict more than 10 inches of snow for some areas but the totals could also be much less. The ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team has called a Weather Alert Day from Saturday night to Monday morning.

Forecasts show more snow will fall in northern parts of the area, transitioning to ice farther south.
