Tracking a gradual cooldown with more chances of rain
TONIGHT: I'm tracking widespread rainfall for southeast Missouri, with dry but cloudy weather for central Missouri. Patchy fog will once again be possible throughout the overnight hours, and temperatures will drop into the low 40s by the end of the night.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking patchy fog possible throughout the morning hours along with chances for light sprinkles. By the afternoon, a brief clearing is expected as temperatures warm into the mid 50s. Winds will be out of the northeast at 7-10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking our last warmer than average day Monday as temperatures by the afternoon will be in the low to mid 50s. More rainfall is expected Monday evening through Tuesday morning, which will lead to a cooler weather pattern for the rest of the week. By New Year's Day, afternoon temperatures will only be in the mid 30s.
