Tracking a cooler night, mild again on Tuesday

THIS AFTERNOON: Bright and sunny with highs in the mid-50s. Gusty winds up to 20-25 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and colder with lows in the lower 30s.

EXTENDED: Clear skies are expected following this morning's cold front, leaving us with a cool start to Tuesday. Winds pick up again from the south with highs back into the 50s tomorrow ahead of another frontal system that will bring clouds by late afternoon. A cold front will bring a chance for a few showers in the evening, but rain amounts look to remain less than a trace before the front moves to our southeast. Colder air moves in as clouds exit on Wednesday, with highs in the 40s through Thursday. A weak system will slide through the region on Friday, bringing a few more clouds, but we remain precipitation free. Colder air settles in by Friday with highs in the 30s, and we'll remain cooler than normal through the weekend.
