Tracking a cool down tomorrow, light snow Wednesday

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold, lows in the upper 20s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and colder with highs in the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a cold front that will move through Mid-Missouri tonight into tomorrow, clearing out cloud cover and bringing cooler temperatures through mid-late week. We'll see more sunshine tomorrow, but highs only reach the upper 30s during the day. We'll fall to the lower 20s overnight with wind chills a few degrees colder on Wednesday morning, with flurries possible for the first half of the day. Snow is expected to be dry and blowing around with gustier winds, so little to no accumulation is expected. Still, cold air sticks around and we'll drop into the teens by Thursday morning with highs a few degrees above freezing. Winds shift back to the south on Friday, sending temperatures back into the 40s as another low pressure system tracks into the region, bringing rain through much of Friday and ending on early Saturday. The rest of the season looks seasonably mild and dry through Sunday.
