Tracking a warmer Wednesday with gusty winds

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and breezy with gusts up to 25 mph. Warming overnight with daybreak temperatures in the low to mid-30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and windy with highs in the upper 40s to around 50.

EXTENDED: We gradually warm overnight as southwest winds ramp up overnight. Temperatures rise into the mid-30s by morning with gusty winds sticking around through the day. We'll see highs near 50, but it feels chillier in the upper 30s to low 40s with the strong breeze. A dry cold front works in from the north tomorrow night, bringing temperatures back down well below average with morning temperatures in the teens on Thursday. Strong winds could gust up to 30 mph at times, keeping the wind chill below 10 degrees early in the day. Highs on Thursday only reach the upper 20s, but as high pressure slides to our southeast, we'll be slightly warmer for Friday with temperatures back into the upper 30s. The weekend is looking warmer with afternoon highs in the upper 40s to low 50s, but another disturbance could migrate into the region sometime between late Sunday and Tuesday, bringing the potential for clouds and rain.
