Lincoln University Holiday Extravaganza weather forecast

Tuesday the 3rd kicks off the Lincoln University Holiday Extravaganza in Jefferson City. The event begins at 6 pm and lasts until 8pm. Various activities are expected including a tree lightning ceremony, Santa's workshop, a performance by the Lincoln University Choir, and a visit from Santa Clause.

It is looking to be a cooler night for much of Mid-Missouri, so layering is going to be needed as temperatures are expected to be into the upper 20s during this event.

Wind chills are forecasted to fall into the lower 20s across the region during the start of the event. As winds continue out of the southwest at 5-10 mph and gusts up t0 16 mph.
