Tracking light snow overnight into tomorrow morning, continued cold
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with light snow possible late. Lows fall into the low 20s.
TOMORROW: Light snow adding up to a dusting to 0.5" through mid-late morning. Becoming partly sunny by afternoon with highs near 30 degrees.
EXTENDED: Another quick hit of light snow is possible late tonight as a clipper type disturbance moves in from the northwest and pulls through northeast Missouri through tomorrow. Snow showers arrive after midnight and will end by mid-morning tomorrow, but could add a light coating of snow to roads for the morning commute. Accumulation will be very light, with less than 0.5" new snow likely. We'll see clouds gradually clear out, with highs near 30 during the day. It's quite cold again tomorrow night with clear skies as lows fall into the low teens, and Tuesday is chilly in the low 30s despite sunshine. We'll briefly warm up to near 50 on Wednesday before another dry cold front moves through and makes way for more arctic air. Temperatures drop back into the teens and 20s at night through the weekend with highs in the 30s Thursday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday's temperatures warm back up into the low to mid-40s, and much of the week is looking dry.
