Tracking rain and chill ahead of the holiday

THIS MORNING: Waking up bright and chilly with morning lows in the 20s. Winds have relaxed and won't add as much chill today.

TODAY: Sunny through the afternoon with seasonal highs in the upper 40s.

EXTENDED: Light rain is possible in northern Missouri on Wednesday morning and slowly tracks south through the day. If temperatures cool enough we could catch a few snowflakes on the backend of this system on Wednesday evening. It will be cloudy to start Thanksgiving morning and even colder as highs only top out in the upper 30s on Thursday. Friday starts in the upper 20s with highs in the mid-30s. A weak system slides in from the northwest over the weekend, potentially bringing some flurries early Saturday. Temperatures are set to fall into the upper teens Saturday night with highs only reaching near the freezing mark on Sunday.
