Tracking clearing skies with a warmer weekend ahead

THIS MORNING: Temperatures remain chilly in the 40s with morning clouds. Winds from the northwest will be gusty up to 20 mph.

TODAY: Sunshine returns by the afternoon as highs struggle to reach the mid-50s.

EXTENDED: Sunshine continues into the weekend bringing highs back to the 60s. Clouds fill in on Sunday ahead of rain chances. A cold front will track across the area on Monday bringing around 0.5" to 1" of rain through early Tuesday. A stronger system sets up to our north late next week, bringing a massive cooldown and possibly more precipitation.
