Tracking a cooler evening before sunny and near average conditions this weekend

TODAY: Friday is a dry day, with more sunshine. As rain exits, skies look to clear and stay that way for the most part. North winds keep us in the 60s to just near 70 for highs this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Clear skies and a light north breeze may drop some into the 40s but others into the 30s overnight, meaning frost could be possible again north of HWY 24, as high pressure slowly inches in from the north.

EXTENDED: This high pressure keeps us clear and cool, with highs in the 60s Saturday afternoon, and lows in the 30s and 40s again Sunday morning. It pivots away, leaving us with south winds and highs near 70 on Sunday afternoon. A big warm-up ensues with breezy south wind on Monday and Tuesday, taking us back to near 80 both days, ahead of rain chances by Halloween.
