Tracking a toasty Sunday, warm next week with limited rain

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the low to mid-40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the upper 70s.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a warm end to the weekend as highs will soar to the upper 70s to nearly 80 degrees tomorrow afternoon. Next week starts off about 10 degrees warmer than average as highs make it to just shy of 80 on Monday. A few disturbances roll in this week; with a front slowly moving in between Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll see more clouds and a chance for a few showers on Tuesday, with a delay in cooler air until late in the week. Thursday will be the coolest day of the week with highs near our seasonal average in the upper 60s, but warm air returns to close out the week on Friday and into next weekend. Rain amounts this week are still looking meager, with less than 0.25" possible.
