Tracking mild temperatures the rest of the week before a weekend cool down

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and comfortable with lows in the upper 40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and mild with highs in the upper 70s to near 80.

EXTENDED: We'll gradually warm up until then with highs near 80 tomorrow, slightly warmer through Saturday. The warmest day will be Saturday with highs in the mid-upper 80s, but a strong cold front moves through overnight into Sunday and brings that fall feel back to the region. A couple sprinkles are possible overnight, but any measurable rain is looking negligible. We'll drop to about 70 for a high on Sunday with lower 60s on Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday morning could be the coldest of the season so far with lows in the upper 30s. Patchy frost will be possible across northern Missouri.
